IBM's Racial Equity in Design (REiD) initiative was released in late January 2021. This project built momentum in terms of meaningful and empathy-focused conversations among IBMers (and beyond). In addition, the initiative has had a significant impact on IBM culture, which has even led to TV exposure.

I am proud to be part of an effort at IBM that was created to see a long-term, tangible and impactful change to systemic racism no matter where it is found but especially for those in design.

In 2021 the Racial Equity in Design podcast I helped produce reached over 1200 plays from 53 different countries. My contribution included story development, technical production, and editing for the released episodes.

I also helped write and produce a powerful REiD story for IBM's Experience Matters broadcast that increased awareness and listenership to the initiative. I also provided portrait photography for the website and brand.
